Rapper/Hip-Hop Artist: Blood$hot

I am a multi-talented Rapper/Hip-hop artist and audio engineer by the name of Bloodshot. I was blessed to be born and raised in Savannah, GA. My style of music is too diverse to single it down to just one

Why did you decide to begin a career in Music?

I decided to begin a career in music so I would have the ability to speak knowledge and wisdom upon a large variety of people of all kinds, especially the youth because they are considered as the future.

What’s your musical background?

My musical background takes place at the church I attended as a child. Here I started directing programs  and learned the use of different instruments and equipment. Most of all, I grasped the technique of performing in front of a crowd.

What was the moment you knew you wanted to follow your music career?

I knew I wanted to follow my music career once I realized that I had created a fan base with loyal followers. I would pass out CD’s and ask everyone to text me what they thought. It was the positive feedback that made me want to continue.

How young were you when you found music / started practicing?

I began finding my passion for music when I was in the fifth grade. I knew the Church Pastor’s son; he played the keyboard for the Church. There I learned different instruments and equipment. I started rapping with my buddy, Bloodhound, we went by the name Blood Brothers. We started rapping together for fun.

Do you have a formal music education background?

I learned from the flaws and mistakes of my surrounding role models.

Have there been any mistakes in your early career? What have you learned from them as you have become more experienced?

One of the biggest mistakes I have made in my early career is investing time and effort into the craft of other artists who doesn’t have the same drive to do for themselves.

Who is your favorite artist? Have they impacted the music you make?

I would have to give all respect to all five members of Bone Thugs N Harmony for being considered as my favorite artists that have had the greatest impact on my music throughout my career.

What’s your scariest experience?

My laptop, which holds the hard drive to all of my material, falling from the height of a shelf has been one of my scariest experiences.

Where do you find inspiration?

I find inspiration in the hardships and struggles of others, and I am empowered by my own.

What motivates you?

I am motivated by envy and discouragement. Envious individuals will attempt to discourage you.

What is your dream project? Or artist(s) to work with?

Having the opportunity to work with the artist Lil Jon himself would be a definite blessing.

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve been given? Based on your own experiences, what advice would you give other aspiring artists?

The best advice that I have been given is “Keep the faith, its all to the good”. It helps my stay focused, one-track mind on what’s necessary. It’s all for the good and it helps me stay humble.

What do you do to prepare for performances?

Usually, before performances, I find myself in a deep state of meditation and prayer. Of course, afterward, I crack open a CRUNK energy, (preferably blood-orange flavor) to unlock an inner chamber of talent that only this beverage is capable of.

Find the majority of my latest as well as previous releases at www.reverbnation.com/beshot & www.facebook.com/beshot2020.

My next performance will be staged in Van Nuys California, Nov. 19th. You can refer to my social media outlets(Twitter, Instagram)  for full details, updates, and other information.
